Appley Beach House is a splendid three storey detached Victorian mansion with grounds opening right onto the esplanade, safe sandy beaches and beautiful parks of Appley at the eastern end of Ryde seafront. From all fast mainland connections you can alight from the fast catamaran or hovercraft and simply walk along the beach or esplanade to Appley Beach House. Literally just 2hrs door to door from Central London, it’s as easy as that. This makes Appley Beach House the perfect venue for small or large groups (from 1 to 15) of family, friends or colleagues with members needing to commute daily to London for instance via hourly fast direct train services to Waterloo.
Appley Beach House’s private swimming pool is heated May to September. There are two large games rooms with table tennis and pool, nine spacious bedrooms furnished with antiques and big comfy beds including super king four poster and king sizes. The large kitchen breakfast room overlooks the pool and there are separate formal dining room and lounges. Teak outside seating and parasols provide elegant alfresco dining. There is also facility for separate self contained accommodation within Appley Beach House if required for elderly parents or staff.
Electronic gated entry provides house and grounds with full security and privacy. The double driveway has ample parking for many cars and water craft. Ryde marina is just minutes’ walk from the house, where there is mooring for larger craft. Smaller craft may access the private slipway at Westfield Park Lodge. A water taxi runs between nearby Seaview and Cowes during major sailing events. Cowes is also easily accessible by road. Seaview itself may be reached by walking along the beach or sea walk from Appley Beach House.

Westfield Park Lodge, built as part of Princess Diana’s ancestors’ estate in Ryde, such a fashionable place to be in Victorian times as it is again now, is a unique three bedroom Lodge with panoramic sea views over the busy Solent, in the most sought after area. Morning access to private tennis court may be arranged.
Located right by the around Island coastal path, St. Lawrence House is just a few minutes’ walk through stunning scenery to a secluded cove as well as many walks with fabulous coastal and countryside scenery. St. Lawrence House has plenty of parking for cars and boats and, although offering a wealth of ensuite bedrooms and excellent ‘play’ facilities, has an intimate feel ideal for family holidays as well as weekend house parties and celebrations.
