St. Lawrence Manor House is located right by the around Island coastal path, just a few minutes’ walk through stunning scenery to a secluded cove, excellent for rock pooling, as well as on into Ventnor Botanic Gardens, Steephill Cove and the town of Ventnor in an easterly direction, or the villages of Niton, Blackgang and the long sandy beaches of West Wight in the other. St. Lawrence Manor House is in the same fabulous coastal and countryside Undercliffe location as Rocklands Manor, with local lore of an old smuggling tunnel to the beach linking the two properties.
St. Lawrence Manor House Bedrooms are named for famous Island residents over the years and provide plenty of flexible sleeping arrangements with some bedrooms having two areas, the Tennyson room for instance having a double bed in one area and a single bed in the other, the Churchill room having twin beds in one area plus a single bed in the other, whereas the 2 areas of the Princess Beatrice room are furnished with a double bed in one area and a sitting room in the other for enjoying the splendid panoramic sea view from the comfort and privacy of armchairs in your own room. In calculating 18 people in 9 bedrooms at St. Lawrence Manor House, each room is considered as accommodating 2 people irrespective of the number of beds, allowing flexibility for child(ren) to sleep within the same bedroom space as parents for instance but with a certain amount of privacy given separate areas within the room. 22 people may be accommodated in the 9 bedrooms if each bed space is occupied but if preferred the 3rd lounge is also available for use as a 10th bedroom with a separate additional shower room available for use by those guests.
