This big baronial manor is set in a superb location just a short walk from a beautiful and secluded Scottish beach. The nearest village, Clachan, is one of the oldest settlements on the Kintyre Peninsula, an area of outstanding beauty. The manor is an excellent base for walking, cycling, golf (the first hole at local Machrihanish Golf Club has been voted the best first hole in the world!), horse riding, sailing (highly regarded harbour and sheltered anchorage in Tarbert), fishing, diving, whisky tasting, wildlife/bird watching, as well as exploring local historic sites, heritage centres, distilleries, galleries and museums.
