Set by the around island coastal path, close to a secluded smugglers cove, there are spectacular cliff walks to Botanic Gardens and Ventnor beach, as well as walks over down land with stunning scenery through Niton, Blackgang, Chale – in fact footpaths leading all over the Island.

Two splendid Master bedrooms front the house with enormous French doors opening onto balconies overlooking the leafy mature garden and sea, one of which can link with a twin bedroom, ideal for families with small children.

A mezzanine level ‘private’ suite of two bedrooms, shower room & separate WC, balcony with sea views and private steps to the breakfast terrace and gardens, provides further privacy in a large group.

Eleven wonderful, high-ceilinged bedrooms can sleep up to 21 guests in space, comfort and style. St. Lawrence Dene can be used as 3 independent units if desired. Bedrooms are named for famous Island visitors over the years and the layout can be viewed below.

Celebrate in splendour and style around the spacious banquet table seating all guests on high burgundy leather buttoned chairs in the impressive dining room. French doors open onto formal terraces and gardens and the bar area comes with American pool table and pew seating.

Enormous modern kitchen: 7 metres (over 20 feet!) of preparation, cooking and serving surface; two large American style fridge freezers; breakfast table with pew seating beside French doors to sheltered, morning suntrap breakfast terrace.

Huge, elegant sitting room; enormous flat screen TV, WiFi; French doors to formal terraces & gardens.

Huge, bright, spacious kitchen with two full size American style side by side fridge freezers, 7 metres (over 20 feet) of cooking and serving surface, dishwasher, large breakfast table area overlooking sunny breakfast courtyard through beautiful hardwood French doors, further French doors internally to pool and dining rooms, plus door to boot room and rear entrance.

Grand banquet/dining room; spacious banquet table, leather high roll back buttoned chairs, fabulous for celebration meals and conferences; full height French doors and windows overlook the terrace and gardens; antique furniture.

Pool table, competition size, solid wood with slate bed (serious play only please), old church pew for spectators, two large bookcases full of books. Sitting room with plenty of comfy seating, coffee tables, antique spice chest, large flat screen TV, WiFi; French doors and windows to terrace and gardens.

Parlour with leather sofa (converts to sofa bed if required), book case full of books, board games, DVDs. Entrance lobby with cloakroom (wc) approached up wide steps with life size guarding stone lions from driveway which has plenty of parking.

Middle Floor

The balconies from the front rooms on this level have steps to the ground level breakfast terrace.

King Charles I Master Bedroom 1: Master Bedroom with antique four poster bed originally from ‘Farringford’, home of Lord Tennyson; flat screen TV, sofa and French doors overlooking gardens and sea.

Lord Nelson Master Bedroom 2: Master bedroom with Super King bed; French doors and windows to balcony overlooking gardens and sea, bathroom en suite (bath, WC, basin).

Joseph Turner Bedroom 3: Twin beds. Useful for families with small children, this room can link with Bedroom 2 or share its bathroom. However, it has its own entrance and can remain completely private.

Edward Elgar Bedroom 4: Twin beds, wash basin.
